BabelCon's "Scinema Film Festival" has begun accepting submissions. SUBMISSION FORM
The deadline for entries is June 17, 2009.
Eligibility Requirements:
- The Scinema Film Festival is free and open to any registered BabelCon attendee, or $20 to
any non-registered entrant.
- All films must be in English or subtitled in English.
- Short form must be under 15 minutes total running time.
- Long form must be between 15 and 90 minutes, inclusive, total running time.
- Entries must include a completed submission form.
- The festival accepts any film in these categories: Anime, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Horror, Drama,
Documentary.
- Awards are given in multiple categories, and the "Unobtainium Award", which goes to the best
overall film.
- Submission format: Long form must be submitted in USA-Region playable DVD recorded at
least at SP quality. Short form may be submitted on CD or online via an FTP or e-mail
attachment. No other media formats (such as VHS tape) will be accepted.
- Submissions to the festival can be shot or created in any format (Film, digital video, Flash,
etc), as long as they are submitted in any of the above formats.
